The last main meal was served when 6 out of seven diners had almost finished eating. Poor effort. Also, the beef lasagne was no where near the size or look of the photo on the menu.
Normally proven for brekky but never again. Ordered big breakfast & club sandwich. Not only were both stone cold, but had to wait a lifetime for food to come out. I asked for scrambled eggs & was given poached, no sausage available too - compensated with bacon which wasn't included. Just ruined my morning. Sad to see a favourite not deliver its expectations 😪
Always had nice friendly service here, the coffee and tea are always nice too. Dome Maykands is one of my go to places for lunch or a beverage. It can be busy at times but that just kind of supports that they are good at what the provide. Service is generally quite fast from the time you order to receiving you food and or beverage(s). Popular with those living and working in the area, easy to access opposite the Maylands train station and with some parking right outside. A selection of newspapers and other reading material is available while you're enjoying you meal, snack or drink.
Lovely franchised cafe/eatery in classic old building. Spacious and cool inside also outside seating available. Adjacent to Maylands Station and would definitely recommend.
Love this great local coffee franchise. Their shop decorations are beautiful done, and they provide a retro vibe. The coffee quality’s consistently alright 😎 in addition to their designated parking space, they have plenty of street parking free for a couple of hours. Toilets avlb - we need to ask for an access though. …
This is a big Dome Cafe! And such a nice building. Not heaps of parking, but the train is literally outside and across the road.

Pet friendly! Beautiful old heritage building, staff are very competent even when busy. Staff are always friendly, food comes out at a reasonable pace and wait times aren’t too bad until it becomes absolutely packed but that’s still understandable.
Nice little outdoor areas and well kept surrounding rose gardens. Has a separate overflow area which can be booked out for bigger parties. The only issue I’d have with this DOME is the availability of parking. Street parking on Eighth ave is okay if you’re early enough. But if the TAB/in next door is closed you can park there without being towed.
Very nice breaky. The kitcken service was great, we said that we wanted to share a dish and they split it. The portions were generous and tasty. We asked for gluten free bread and it was better than most gluten free breads. We also got coffee: a perfect lactose free flat white and also a perfect almond milk mocha (very chocolatey, just how I like it). The salt shakers need to be improved. Excellent breakfast experience, I totally recommend it.
